		Getting Started in the Program (a step by step approach)			Pages

		These steps may require filling out forms, paying money and making reservations. Please make sure all involved parties are aware of the information you are submitting. We would like to make sure that if you are having someone pay for your trip or you are under 18yrs of age that you accompany the following forms, permissions and monies with a note from your parents stating that they are aware that you filled out said forms. Please also note that if you are joining the program and one or more of these dates have past, do not fret, there may be something we can do for you. Step 1 - Contact Us Call us at 972-273-3279 or drop us an e-mail at hawaii@dcccd.edu and we can get important information to you in a timely manner. Step 2 - Look Over the Site This site has a bevy of good information. Please read the FAQ page and make sure you check out the photo galleries. If you have access to a friend or relative that has been on this trip it would also be a great time to talk to them before you put any money down. Step 3 - Pay the Deposit Check This is due ASAP. Please click on the following link www.northlakebiology.com/hawaii_deposit_check.htm and it will take you to the page where you can find out how to get this money in. It will reserve you a spot in the trip. Step 4 - Contact the Travel Agent Contact Rufe Snow Travel even if you are making your own flight arrangements. They will be handling our ground package and every student must have the ground package. They will also call this the "Land Only" package. You can get a hold of them at www.rstravel.com or call them at 817-498-2455. Please ask for Pam. Step 4 - Pay the Ground Package Fee Again this is due even if you are making your own flight arrangements. You must have this in some time in Feburary. When you contact Rufe Snow in the above step, they should let you know the absolute due date for this fee. Please note that this a non refundable fee. Step 5 - Get Admitted to DCCCD and Register for classes. If you are already a student of the DCCCD then you probably do not need help with this. Lets just say that if you are not familiar with the process it will be easier to wait for an e-mail from me to explain the process. Step 6 - Pay Balances and Attend Class You will probably end up meeting with us in class before all fees are payed, however, you can be assured that I will keep you up to date on the due dates. Settle up all balances and away we go!
